Custom Rules
Custom Rules provide a powerful way to create, manage, and share your own rules. You can create custom rules to block or allow websites and web resources, hide webpage elements, strip cookies from web requests, and use a secure connection to websites and resources.
Select "Custom Rules" from the main screen to be able to use the actions in this section.
To add a new custom rule, use the "Add a New Custom Rule" button. There are eight types of custom rules that you can create: Block Content, Block Websites, Secure Content, Secure Websites, Strip Cookies, Hide Content, Allow Content, and Allow Websites.
To edit a custom rule, select a custom rule and use the "Edit" button in the navigation bar.
To delete a custom rule, select a custom rule and use the trash button in the toolbar. You can also delete a custom rule by swiping on it and selecting the "Delete" action.
To enable a custom rule, select a disabled custom rule and use the "Enable" button in the toolbar. A disabled custom rule is a custom rule with a red dot.
To disable a custom rule, select an enabled custom rule and use the "Disable" button in the toolbar. An enabled custom rule is a custom rule with a green dot.
To import custom rules, select a Roadblock file (a file that ends with .roadblock) and use "Copy to Roadblock" via the share sheet. When you import custom rules, you get to choose which profile you want the rules to be imported to.
Use the "Select" button in the navigation bar to select multiple custom rules and perform the following actions: "Enable", "Disable", "Copy To", "Share", and "Delete". The "Copy To" action lets you copy custom rules from the active profile to other profiles.
Use the "Search" button in the navigation bar to search the custom rules. Enter any keywords (e.g., block, hide, content, resources, loads, websites, enabled, etc.) and then tap the "Search" key on the keyboard to start the search.
